Vologda-Onega-Ladoga 2008 - 1200 km
4-8 July 2008

Randonnee Club of Longdistance Bicycle Trips "Baltic Star" presents:

Brevet "St.Petersburg-Onega-Ladoga- 2010" - 1200 km

5-9 August 2010

One hundred years ago, when the audax was born, brevets were conducted mostly on unpaved roads. Nowadays to create a logical and beautiful route for Event with extended dirt road segments in Europe has become extremely difficult. In Russia this possibility still remains, quarter of Saint-Petersbourg-Onega-Ladoga 1200k brevet consists of unpaved roads.

This enabled:

  • to conduct the route through a unique location
  • to avoid roads with busy traffic
  • to start the brevet in St. Petersburg and to finish in its surroundings

    At the same time we managed to preserve the best traditions of Vologda - Onega - Ladoga brevet:

  • traveling along the banks of the two largest lakes in Europe;
  • enjoyment of the picturesque nature of the north-west Russia and the monuments of Russian architecture;
  • quality support throughout the marathon;
  • detailed planning of the route.
